Web Reference: Fourth video in the Processing programming tutorial series. In this video we take a look at how we can do animation in Processing, by moving the ellipse in our screen. Processing has built-in functions that make it easy for you to have objects in a sketch move, spin, and grow or shrink. This tutorial will introduce you to the translate, rotate, and scale functions so that you can use them in your sketches. Modify this program so that there appears to be only one ball moving around on the screen rather than a trail of old balls. Modify the program again so that the ball leaves a “vapor trail” behind as it moves.
