This method is used to find out if a thread has actually been started and has yet not terminated. In main method, we've created a new thread of ThreadDemo class and started it using start () method. Then using join (), we've made the thread to wait till die. In the end again, its status is printed using isAlive () method. The following example shows the usage of Java Thread isAlive () method. Thread is "Alive" means that Thread is still running. Yes, you can say that run() method is executing for the Alive Thread. Moreover, isAlive () method is used to know if the Thread is still running.
