You can call Window.clearTimeout() to cancel the timeout before it completes. I am trying to use setTimeout () inside a class function in JavaScript. The setTimeout () is supposed to trigger another method in the same Class, so the function I am passing it is written as window. Notes The setTimeout() is executed only once. If you need repeated executions, use setInterval() instead. Use the clearTimeout() method to prevent the function from starting. To clear a timeout, use the id returned from setTimeout ():
