Web Reference: Wang Ruiji (Chinese: 王銳基; born 9 February 1957) is a Chinese fencer who competed at the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics. [1] He is the father of rapper Jackson Wang. After retiring and transitioning to coaching, Wang Ruiji took charge of the Hong Kong, China Fencing Team in 1995, serving as its head coach for 16 years. He nurtured Olympic athletes such as Chen Yingmin, Liu Guojian, and Zhou Ziqi. After the Dutch government voted not to support the 1928 Olympics due to events being held on Sundays, the organizing committee launched a successful “crowdfunding” campaign.
