Web Reference: Sep 14, 2025 · I'm having an issue where textures, and apparently some assets and maybe even save files are loading slowly after patch 2.3.1 There will be frequent times where an NPC approaches me or vice-versa and their textures are a low-res blob for several seconds. May 5, 2021 · So for the past year or so I've had problems with textures loading really slow or not at all. At first I just had to turn my settings to the lowest and it would fix itself sometimes, but now... I’ve seen all the stuff about turning off msaa and fiddling with film grain and everything in the menus but the truth is, there’s a serious texture problem in this game.
