He uses immune cell-based therapies to treat a wide range of solid tumors. He is best known as the creator of the television sitcom Arrested Development as well as the co-creator of The Ellen Show. He is also a contributor to The John Larroquette Show and The Golden Girls. Hurwitz was born in 1963 [1] to a Jewish [2] family in Anaheim, California. Dr. Hurwitz is certified by the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and fellowship-trained in advanced minimally invasive surgery and surgical oncology. He has been in practice at Hoag Hospital since 1998.
