Web Reference: If your Lambda@Edge function returns a body that exceeds these limits, your request will fail with an HTTP 502 status code (Lambda validation error). We recommend that you update your Lambda@Edge function so that the body doesn't exceed these limits. AWS Lambda has a default concurrency limit of 1,000 concurrent executions per region for your account. This limit applies to the total number of Lambda function executions happening simultaneously across all functions in a region. There are some restrictions to using Lambda@Edge. As of July 2022, the maximum compressed size of a Lambda@Edge package cannot exceed 50MB for origin events and 1MB for viewer events. For even greater performance gains, consider using AWS CloudFront Functions and AWS S3 in tandem with AWS Lambda@Edge.
