I was talking with Connor B. at some point before or after a show, he confirmed he originally left Secrets to work on more Author and Finisher with Aaron. Bourgeois and Koch later formed a new band, The Haven, in early 2014. On April 30, 2013, the band announced that their new vocalist would be Aaron Melzer, formerly of the local band Author and Finisher.
